The Stellar Pre-Show recognizes all nominees are announces the winners of the non-televised categories. Many nominees have an opportunity to perform and share their talents during this lively non-televised showcase.
This prestigious annual awards showcase honors Gospel radio stations and the professionals – Program Directors, and Gospel Announcers – who are making inroads into the communities and forging new relationships and audiences. This event honors radio stations across the country in the Major, Large, Medium, Small, and Internet Market categories. Also, the winner of the The Gospel Announcer of the Year award is announced.
The future of the former site of Pilgrim Baptist Church is bright! Plans are underway to transform the site into the National Museum of Gospel Music. The 45,000 square foot museum is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization and plans to include:
The proposed project is developed by Don Jackson, CEO of Central City Productions and founder of the Stellar Gospel Music Awards and architect Dirk Lohan of Wight & Company. A soft opening is targeted for April 2020, the month designated by President Barack Obama as Gospel Music Heritage Month.
Stellar Sunday, a fresh uplifting half hour series featuring the biggest stars in gospel music reflecting on their songs, motivations, and aspirations, including contemporary, urban, hip-hop and traditional gospel music artist.
