Jonathan McReynolds is a Dove Award-winning, Grammy and Stellar Award-nominated gospel singer-songwriter based in Chicago, IL. At just 28, Jonathan has released two full length albums and one EP, holds a Masters in theology from Moody Theological Seminary and is currently an adjunct member of the Columbia College faculty on top of his work as an official contributor to Huffington Post and the founder of Elihu Nation, a nonprofit organization that promotes wisdom and recently awarded $9k in scholarships. His music has been cheered on by music icons from Stevie Wonder, Nicki Minaj, and Tori Kelly to gospel giants like CeCe Winans, Yolanda Adams, and Kirk Franklin, who dubbed McReynolds “the future of gospel music.”
Jonathan is preparing for the March 9th release of his third LP “Make Room,” recorded live in Jonathan’s home city of Chicago, on Entertainment One. The album’s first single, “Not Lucky, I’m Loved” was released in September 2017 and became the singer’s first Billboard #1 single. The album’s second single, “Cycles (feat. DOE)” just hit #4 on Billboard’s Gospel Digital Song Sales and #19 on Hot Gospel Songs, and is featured in Apple Music’s “The A-List: Gospel” playlist.
Jonathan will hit the road in support of the album from March 3rd – March 20th hitting many major markets such as Atlanta, NYC, Chicago, DC, Baltimore, Dallas, and Houston, followed by a highly anticipated performance on the 2018 Stellar Awards.
